CALGARY STAMPEDE: the official invite.
I, Michelle Little, cordially invite you to save a horse, ride a cowboy in Calgary this July with my co-conspirators: Nikita, Amanda and Alanna. We will be kickin up dust the weekend of July 19th. Road trip stops shall include, but not be limited to: The Cabin, Banff and Lake Louise. The Best Western will be our accomodation. At 2.5 stars i think we are in for one hell of a treat. I bet they have an ice making machine on every floor! We expect this super long weekend to be rather tame with minimal amounts of drinking and debauchery- except for friday and saturday night. those are fair game. headed out to the track at 6. i have plomised myself to go slowly. here's my self-talk: it's not a race, shelly. you're only going to hurt yourself. slow and steady wins the race.
i tried to walk out the pain yesterday but that served no other purpose than to give me mild shin splints. i read somewhere that 'a little hair of the dog' and i'd be good as new. usually this refers to liqor, however, in this case it was referring to light excersize. i really shouldn't take advice off open online forums.
ted will officially be holidaying at chalet shelly as of tonight. poor coordination through the ryan and myself yesterday and he somehow didn't make it here. i think he (ted) got cold paws and changed his mind. cough, scaredy cat*
so Friday is officially the New Moon viewing. nix and i are going to rent it and then watch it in our vampire costumes. ... i didn't throw the costume idea past her yet, but i can't imagine her being against it. some fangs, fake blood and a cape or perhaps a trench- nbd.
